When something goes your way. You're not tamed, because you don't realize you've been watching the sky burn.
A finger is holding my wrist and I feel free
for the first time in years, this is awesome,
but I opened my eyes and saw nothing at all
she just went away, and I started to bleed

somebody held me
as I slowly looked beyond a path
then I turned away,
and slowly felt nothing
the breach had touched my soul
and I just walked away from her
felt miles away from absolutely nothing
but the cascade had been broken
the turtle’s shell was lost

everybody just flew away
as people turned to dust
I just walked right by
and had the snake right behind

parallel to my future
and opposing sides with my present

into watching nothing at all
